We stayed here when visiting to attend a wedding. Pierre and Candy were charming and attentive hosts. There property is fantastically decorated, very well appointed, clean, and quiet. Pierre's breakfast is not to be missed!
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Wow, where do I even begin? When we arrived Candy gave us a nice tour describing the history of the beautiful home and how it was renovated. We stopped at the kitchen to meet Pierre, an incredibly talented chef, and were in awe at how beautiful the food looked coming out of his kitchen. Pierre asked us what we wanted for breakfast in the morning, and that we could have anything we wanted, at any time, as they don't tell their guests when to get up to start the day. Where else do you get service like this?! A second kitchen is available for guests, with a fully stocked fridge including beer and wine, teas, coffees, snacks; perfect for a midnight stop! We took a swim in the heated outdoor pool, which even has a seat with jets in it like a hot tub! We stayed at the Queen's Chambers and the comfortable king sized bed gave us the best night sleep we've had staying anywhere. We felt like we were laying on a cloud! The bathroom was superbly clean with endless on demand hot water. It's all about the details, and they simply make all the difference. For example, the night light in the bathroom should the guest want a bit of ambient light during the night. The next morning our breakfast was simply divine: eggs benny on crapes with Belgian waffles and bacon. Freshly squeezed orange juice and endless fresh fruits. Everything hand made with extreme skill by Pierre! We truly felt that we were treated like royalty and feel like we made some really nice new friends too! We will be back, again and again. Thank you Pierre and Candy for an unforgettable experience!
What an incredible place! The accommodations and the breakfasts were amazing. We loved all of the little extras like the fully stocked Buttery and access to Netflix. Pierre and Candy were so welcoming and down to earth. We will definetely be booking here the next time were in town.
Everything was excellent: Our room, the common areas, the pool, the beautiful breakfast, the snacks and refreshments freely available and most of all the hospitality of Candy and Pierre. The Kings Inn was a great base to return to after our day-trip excursions into Prince Edward County.
An exceptional B&B with very welcoming hosts owners ( Candy and Pierre) that go out of their way to make you feel at home the minute you walk in the door. This home was renovated with great taste keeping the original character. Our room offered great confort in an antique decor with modern bath. Pierre is a chef and will delight you with unique breakfasts prepared to your taste with fresh ingredients.... a memorable experience that we will never forget. Highly rcommended.
