The motel is in fair condition.Beds were good.Blocked rooms for a wedding. Due to corporate policy after block was sold out the rate change for rooms was excessive.Room rate was not reasonable for quality of motel.No breakfast only coffee and cookies.They lost money due to people going elsewhere.Rose was very helpful and went over and above to make our catered, by others, breakfast room so very cosy and special.
Location was convenient to the convention attending. Rooms were clean. Although coffee and tea are available in the lobby, it would be more convenient to have a coffee percolator or/and a kettle to boil water for tea in the room. Was hoping to iron my uniform shirts but there was not an iron. The key cards to open the rooms are very sensitive. Sometimes would have to put the key card in three times before it would unlock the door. Service was good
Had a reservation for a room with two queen beds but was given a room with one king bed. Cost of a room for one night was $200. The no smoking room smelled like stale cigarettes. Internet was not working. Mattress felt like a sheet of plywood. This place is a dump. Way over priced. You're better off sleeping in your vehicle.
We were there for a convention. I booked 6 rooms and were pleased that we were able to all be on the ground floor.Staff was great and a big Thank you to Rose for for arranging the rooms for us.Over all the motel is old but you can see that work is slowing being done to upgrade it.Maybe a little more items could be put out with the coffee in the morning.
I would recommend that once a box spring begins to show of wear. Such as the liner hanging down simply re-staple or duct tape up. It will give the impression that you care about the appearance of the room. I highly recommend a thorough power washing of the whole building. With much attention paid to the guest main entrance. It was extremely in need of some upkeep. The pool only being open till 8 is ridiculous as people are still arriving at that time. We always book with at least a pool but prefer a hot tub. Since you don't have a hot tub at this time I can't hold that against you. With out some appearance upkeep we would not recommend this hotel. Simple things will make people happy.
